Lord's Wines, situated high up on the northern slopes of the mountains surrounding Robertson in the ever fertile McGregor valley. At 500m above sea level and cradled amongst the local fynbos and Proteas, the vineyard is the highest in the Robertson valley enjoying a climate which is cooler than most and making it ideal for producing Pinot Noir grapes.

Lord's Wines was established in early 2003, when Jacie Oosthuizen attracted passionate wine lovers to invest in a dream of producing iconic, world class wines. The farm is 33ha in size, a boutique offering, and is part of the original Oosthuizen farmland which farmed fruit, vegetables and exported Proteas.

The wines name is a result of Jacie's passion for cricket, where it is named after the famed Lord's Cricket Ground in London.

Given its high location and with the vineyards slopes varying from east to south-east, this presents the grapes with slightly less sunlight and lower temperatures in comparison to the rest of the valley, which allows for the preservation of natural acidity and pH in the grape varietals - perfect for MCC.
